This piece draws inspiration from the mailman sling bags of midcentury America, this time Frankensteined together by shades of Sakiori, a little known Japanese textile thats been around since the 1600s, vintage OG-107 military fabric, and antique Japanese indigo.
Divinity is in the details see, while most mailbags come with an unsealable open mouth, ours can be secured by a centered antiqued button, comes hand distressed, and is held securely across your body or over your shoulder with an antique Japanese sling strap. The Old News bag is sized 16" W x 12" H x 6" D with a 37" strap.
